Terms & Conditions
By accessing or using taurr.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
01Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or place an order. If you are under 18, you may use the Platform only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
By using the Platform, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our sole discretion if we suspect a violation of these Terms.
02Account Registration
Certain features (order tracking, wishlists, saved addresses) require an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at taurr@taurr.in of any unauthorized use.
We use Supabase Authentication to manage account credentials and sessions. We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to secure your account (e.g., sharing passwords, using public devices without logging out).
We may suspend or delete accounts that are inactive, fraudulent, or in breach of these Terms.
03Products, Pricing & Availability
We make reasonable efforts to display accurate product descriptions, images, sizing, and pricing. Colors may vary slightly due to screen/display settings.
All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed and paid for.
Product availability is subject to stock. In case an ordered item goes out of stock after payment confirmation (e.g., due to concurrent orders), we will notify you and issue a full refund or offer an alternative/exchange at your choice.
We reserve the right to limit order quantities per customer, per address, or per transaction to prevent misuse, reselling, or fraud.
Any promotional pricing, discount codes, or offers are valid only for the stated period and subject to additional terms communicated at the time of the offer.
04Order Placement & Acceptance
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An order is deemed accepted only when:
- Payment has been successfully authorized/captured via Razorpay, and
- You receive an order confirmation email/notification with an Order ID.
We reserve the right to cancel any order — even after confirmation — in cases including but not limited to: pricing errors, suspected fraud, stock unavailability, or violation of these Terms. In such cases, a full refund will be processed to the original payment method within the timeline specified in our Return & Refund Policy.
All product prices, availability, and cart totals are validated server-side at the time of checkout. Client-displayed prices are indicative only and final pricing is determined during payment processing.
05Payments
All payments on the Platform are processed through Razorpay, a third-party, RBI-authorized payment gateway. TAURR does not store your card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, or net-banking credentials — these are handled entirely within Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.
Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets, as made available by Razorpay from time to time.
You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds/credit limit and accurate payment details. TAURR is not liable for failed transactions due to issues on your bank's, card network's, or Razorpay's end.
In case of a payment failure after debit from your account, the amount is typically auto-reversed by your bank/Razorpay within 5–7 business days. If not received, contact us with your transaction reference ID for assistance.
TAURR reserves the right to introduce Cash on Delivery (COD) or other payment options in the future, which will be governed by additional terms at that time.
06Shipping & Delivery
Order fulfillment and logistics are managed through Shiprocket and its network of courier partners.
Estimated delivery timelines are shown at checkout and in order confirmation communications. These are estimates only; actual delivery may vary due to courier delays, weather, regional restrictions, or force majeure events (see Section 13).
Shipping charges, if any, are displayed at checkout before payment.
You are responsible for providing an accurate, complete, and reachable delivery address and phone number. TAURR is not liable for non-delivery or delayed delivery caused by incorrect address information provided by you.
Risk of loss and title for Products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided, or to the designated recipient at that address.
For undeliverable shipments (e.g., recipient unavailable after multiple attempts, incorrect address, refusal to accept), the order may be returned to origin, and refunds (minus applicable shipping/RTO charges, where applicable) will be processed per our Return & Refund Policy.
07Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled by you free of charge before they are shipped/dispatched, via your account order history or by contacting taurr@taurr.in.
Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled; you may initiate a return after delivery as per our Return & Refund Policy.
TAURR reserves the right to cancel orders as described in Section 4.2, with full refund in such cases.
08Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
Returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by our separate Return & Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
09Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including the TAURR name, logo, product photography, graphics, text, UI/UX design, and software — is the property of TAURR or its licensors and is protected under Indian and international intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our prior written consent.
Any feedback, reviews, or user-generated content submitted to the Platform grants TAURR a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display such content for marketing and operational purposes.
10Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or databases (including Supabase-backed infrastructure);
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access or extract data from the Platform without permission;
- Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of the Platform;
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code;
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- Engage in fraudulent transactions, chargebacks initiated in bad faith, or payment abuse.
Violation of this section may result in immediate account termination, order cancellation, and reporting to law enforcement where applicable.
11Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TAURR's total liability arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform or any Product shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
TAURR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Platform.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free, secure, or continuously available (including due to downtime on our hosting/backend providers such as Vercel or Supabase).
12Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TAURR, its founders, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, or violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
13Force Majeure
TAURR shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, courier/logistics disruptions, government restrictions, internet or cloud service outages, or pandemics.
14Third-Party Services
The Platform integrates third-party services including Razorpay (payments) and Shiprocket (logistics), each governed by their own terms and privacy policies. TAURR is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or service interruptions of these third parties, though we will make reasonable efforts to assist in resolving any issues arising from their services.
15Amendments
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be highlighted via banner notice or email where feasible.
16Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. Failing that, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India.
In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, grievances may also be escalated to the appropriate Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission.

18Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
